The Renfrew and Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to launch “Chamber Talks”, a series of online information sessions designed to help businesses survive and prosper.
There are 4 – 1 hour Zoom sessions planned for the month of June, each beginning at 3:00 p.m.
In each session, a panel will discuss current business issues followed by Business Spotlight with a local business person who has been active throughout the lockdown. Online attendees will have an opportunity to pose questions to our experts.

June 4th
An update of available government funding relief programs and their tax implications with Dan Thompson, Partner, MacKillican and Associates and Tom Sydney, Tom Sidney Empowerment Coaching Services.
Business Spotlight: A discussion with Lisa Vincent, Owner of Keeping Company and Ella’s Boutique on launching an online store and preparing for reopening.
June 11th
A discussion on Metal Health and how to help people feel safe and motivated with Tom Sidney of ???
Business Spotlight: Bob Dillabough, General Manager, myFM Renfrew, will share some observations on challenges and successes for the sales team during the lockdown.
June 18th
An overview of relief programs available through the major banks and insurance companies with Jordan Mather & Cindy Gale from BrokerLink and Carol-Ann Adams & Nancy McGuire from RBC
Business Spotlight: Karen Maxwell, Owner of Home Hardware, will share information on steps they took to best serve their clients.
June 25th
Marketing and Communication during and after lockdown will be discussed with Kent Tubman, TUBMAN Marketing Inc.
Business Spotlight: Lindsay Wilson, Marketing and Economic Development Officer, Town of Arnprior, will discuss how to use social media to re-engage with your client base.
